Fun and games at the reception – Darren Powell taking centre stage!
I am absolutely delighted with the hard work put in today (4th August) by my “Fab Four” photographers ably coordinated with the Lightroom and In Design skills of mentee, Barry Paffey, the father of the bride. Each photographer contributed an enormous amount to the success of the day, expanding their knowledge and skills under real and trying conditions. My thanks to Mark Varney, Darren Powell, Gulam Nabi and Tim Henniker-Parker for putting their hearts and souls into this workshop. I’m sure the couple will be delighted with the results, they have been so far.
Finally, huge thanks to Album Epoca from Riccione, Italy for putting to work their team of designers to complete and deliver the albums. Without their support this workshop would not have been quite the same. For more information on Album Epoca’s fantastic products please visit www.albumepoca.com
The ‘Cheese’ Cake at Natalie & Steve’s Wedding 4th July 2015
When I first saw the opportunity to take part in a live London Wedding Workshop, my first thoughts was one of excitement. I go into every Wedding with one simple aim and that is to improve on my last Wedding. The chance to work with 3 other photographers and Martin Grahame-Dunn seemed like a fantastic opportunity. I knew It would allow me to see how others worked, but more importantly observe how other members of them team went about structuring their Wedding day coverage and got their images.
On reflection of the day, I got more that I could ever have hoped for. I got to work with some great people, observed how other photographers worked and more importantly saw an expert in his field at work.
If you ever get an opportunity like this, please ensure you take it! Staged training courses are fine, but learning in a live environment not only pushes your beyond your capabilities but ensures you actually get to go through the emotion of a real day. What a ‘Top Day’, and hugely educational. I can’t wait to see the finished album we have produced!

Natalie & Steve 4th July Live Wedding Workshop by Tim Henniker-Parker
If you were even contemplating a place on my REAL Wedding Workshop on 12th September 2015 at Stanbrook Abbey, listen to the words of Tim Henniker-Parker, one of the four photographers who benefitted from participating in my 4th July REAL Wedding Workshop with Natalie and Steve in London…
” I was privileged, following a submission of images, to be invited to join Martin Grahame-Dunn and three other aspiring photographers to photograph, under his guidance and tuition, a Live Wedding in Central London. On the day my initial thoughts were a mixture of fear and excitement. Within minutes of arriving and meeting up with the team the fear evaporated. Martin skilfully directed and guided us thorough the day. Any concerns about getting in the way or crowding the couple were null and void. We were four photographers from very different backgrounds but we all gelled and in my view made a great team. I believe we have captured some great moments and memories of the day. Thank you Martin , it was inspirational, educational and last but not least fun!”
This is an unrepeatable opportunity to enhance your skills as a wedding photographer. NOT a mocked up workshop with professional models in wedding dresses, no grooms, best man, bridesmaids, parents and guests, but a REAL LIVE WEDDING. So if you want to learn more than being in a large group photographing the same single subjects and shoot a real wedding, apply now to email@example.com. Closing date for applications 31st July!

Following the success of my recent LIVE Wedding Day Training event, I am once again offering the opportunity for three professional photographers to develop their style and approach to contemporary wedding photography. Some time ago I recruited a group of 4 photographers for a practically unique opportunity to shoot a Wedding under my direction as a ‘hands on’ educational exercise to improve their standards, repertoire and overall skills. So this Saturday, 4th July they will converge on several London locations to shoot, create, explore, invent and inspire. The father of the Bride, Barry Paffey, one of my talented mentees from Billericay in Essex will be there to give away his beautiful daughter Natalie. The Photo Team of Mark Varney and Darren Powell from Warwickshire, Gulam Nabi from Coventry and Tim Henniker-Parker from Guildford, represent a diversity of styles and talent that are sure to come up with the goods under a great deal of pressure and my high expectations.
Thanks to the support of Album Epoca www.albumepoca.com the couple as well as each of the participating photographers, will receive a superbly presented handmade Italian Wedding Album designed and created in their revolutionary new software about to make its debut on the world stage. Album Epoca are one of the leading manufacturers of Wedding Albums and Books for the demanding portrait market.
One of the participants, Darren Powell and his partner Jo are anxious to share their most special day in the same way so we will be recruiting another team for their September 12th Country House Wedding. On this occasion it will be just two lucky participants who will fulfil a demanding brief under my direction.
